The long-established French confectionery brand DARROYOT will release celebratory sweets commemorating Disney’s 100th anniversary at its physical stores and official online store on September 26.
The “Disney 100 Macarons Assortment (18 pieces)” (6,480 yen) consists of macarons with a crispy outside and soft inside, sandwiched between melt-in-your-mouth cream. The set includes three Disney 100 theme designs (Mickey Mouse/Minnie Mouse/Donald Duck) and six of the store’s popular flavors.
In addition, “Disney 100 Macarons Assortment (6 pieces)” (2,700 yen) will be available in a limited time only package. This assortment includes three types of Disney 100 design macarons and three types of popular macarons.
Also available is the “Disney 100 Macarons Assortment (2 pieces)” (702 yen), available in three designs. The key point of this item is the adorable three-dimensional package with a ribbon.
Mickey Mouse & Stitch pattern is chocolate and pistache. The Minnie Mouse & Dumbo pattern is Amao and Caramel Beurre Salé. The Donald Duck & Pooh pattern comes in Citron and Raspberry flavors.
The lineup also includes “Disney 100 Macarons Assortment (5 pieces)” (1404 yen), which comes with a back-style handle, and like the 2-piece pack, it is a size and price range that can be used for small thank-you gifts or to give as a gift.
The “Disney 100 Gateau Tins” (880 yen each), which contain two types of baked sweets in compact-sized square tins, will also go on sale at the same time.
The three designs are Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck. Each contains one piece of buttery and rich Gâteau Beurre and one piece of moist Gâteau au Chocolat with cacao mass kneaded into the dough.
