JR East will launch the “Okkudate Tokudate Special (with train ticket)” for the Tohoku Shinkansen Yamabiko and Nasuno in conjunction with the Fukushima Prefecture sightseeing campaign “Autumn Tour and You Will Be Blessed” that runs until November 30. The special is available only to Ekinet members from November 6 to November 21.
The ticket offers a 50% discount on fares and charges and is valid for all trains of the Yamabiko (to/from Sendai) and Nasuno (standard reserved-seat tickets). For example, a regular ticket from Tokyo Station to Fukushima Station costs 4,550 yen instead of 8,910 yen (train ticket + reserved seat express ticket).
Sales start at 10:00 a.m. one month prior to the boarding date and end at 1:50 a.m. 20 days prior to the boarding date.
