Kochi Prefecture will hold a new travel support program, “Kochi Air Travel Transfer Campaign,” from October 1 to November 30.
During the same period, those who take connecting flights departing from Kochi Airport (Kochi Ryoma Airport) for destinations in Kochi Prefecture will receive up to 10,000 yen round-trip or 5,000 yen one-way in cash back in the form of the digital gift “QUO Card Pay”. Transfers within 7 days from departure to destination and using a different airline are also eligible (limited to domestic flights).
Up to five people at a time can apply for the program through the application form on the official website, and up to 50,000 yen will be granted to a family of five, for example.
Application requirements are to post a photo taken in Kochi Prefecture on either Instagram/X (formerly Twitter)/Facebook with “#Kochi Air Travel Transfer Campaign” and “#Dr. Makino’s New Holiday” (one post per person; for children, a proxy post by a guardian is acceptable). When submitting the application, an image of the paper boarding pass, an image of the receipt, and the URL of the social networking service where the submission was made must be attached.
