Disney Store will release “[MIKIMOTO] Mickey Necklace Pearl Pendant HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICKEY 2023” as a joint project with jewelry brand MIKIMOTO. The price is 313,500 yen.
A limited number of 30 pieces will also be available for pre-sale to official Disney Store Club members and Disney Card Club members starting at 10:00 a.m. on September 29.
The pendant top uses three MIKIMOTO-like Akoya pearls to create a Mickey shape. It has an outstanding presence even when viewed from the side.
The pearl is surrounded by a series of 18-karat yellow gold “M” Mickey Mouse decorations, based on the initials from Mikimoto’s signature “M COLLECTION” collection. A 45cm chain is also included, which can be adjusted to 40cm to fit around the neck.
As a bonus for purchasing the watch at the pre-sale, a watch featuring a scene from the feature-length animated film “Fantasia” will be presented. It comes with a gimmick that makes the glitter on the dial glow blue when lit up. The watch allows you to see the magic of Mickey dressed as “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” up close and personal with the time.
