The Sakaimachi Tourist Association in Ibaraki Prefecture has decided to offer a paid live broadcast of the Tone River Grand Fireworks Festival to be held on September 16. The live broadcast will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will cost 1,980 yen.
Cameras and drones installed at the venue will capture images from various angles, allowing visitors to view the 30,000 fireworks from angles they have never seen before and enjoy them from their own comfortable locations without worrying about weather or crowds.
A screenshot contest will also be held exclusively for paid distribution, with the winner winning a cash prize of 100,000 yen.
