The “Bayside Blue” articulated bus service begins service at Yokohama Hammerhead. Buses departing from Yamashita-futo and bound for Yokohama Station stop at the new stop.

The City of Yokohama will begin offering the Bayside Blue, a consolidated bus service that operates between Yokohama Station, Minatomirai, the Shinko district, and the Yamashita area, to the Yokohama Hammerhead (2-14-1 Shinko, Naka-ku, Yokohama), a passenger ship terminal at the Shinko Wharf.

A new stop will be built in the Hammerhead, at platform 2, and will be in operation from the first service on October 1. The new stop will be made at the Hammer Head between “Aka Renga Soko-mae” and “Pacifico Yokohama” on the service from Yamashita Pier to Yokohama Station. The route from Yokohama Station to Yamashita Pier is different, and this route does not stop at “Hammerhead,” but at “Cupnoodles Park Hammerhead Entrance” on the existing route.

The new timetable after October 1, adding the new stops, will be available on the official website of the Yokohama City Transportation Bureau.
