NEXCO East Hokkaido Branch and AIRDO will offer the “HOKKAIDO LOVE! Michi Toku Furipasu x Hokkaido no Tsubasa AIRDO Passengers Only Plan” from October 1, 2011, which allows unlimited travel on all expressways in Hokkaido at a fixed rate. Prior to this, reservation sales will begin at 2:00 p.m. on September 20.
This plan is for people using AIRDO flights arriving at airports in Hokkaido, and is available for standard cars and mini cars, including motorcycles. The regular “HOKKAIDO LOVE! MICHITOKU FURI-PASU” plan is 8,000 yen for two days for a standard car, but the plan is 6,300 yen for four days and includes a special offer.
To apply for the plan, simply make a reservation or purchase a ticket for an AIRDO flight (to an airport in Hokkaido), go to the pop-up screen displayed on the “Reservation Details” page of the AIRDO official website to make a reservation or purchase a plan, and apply for the plan by the boarding date of the flight to be used (the plan is available even if you have made a reservation or purchased an eligible ticket before the plan sales start. (This service is available even if you have already made a reservation or purchased a qualifying ticket prior to the start of the plan sales.)
The “Reservation Details” page can be viewed from the reservation confirmation page or the My Page of My AIRDO members. When applying for the plan, the start date of use of the plan must be the day of or the day after the boarding date, and if you want to start using the plan on the boarding date, you need to complete the application before using the expressway.
After using the plan, those who respond to a questionnaire will be selected in a drawing to win round-trip tickets on the Haneda-New Chitose route for three people and AIRDO original goods for seven people. The survey will be available from October 1, and the method of response will be announced on a dedicated page at a later date.
