TOMY Arts will sell “Disney 100 Platinum Premium Plush Toy: Mickey the Sorcerer’s Apprentice (Fantasia)” (14,960 yen) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company.
Applications will be accepted through the company’s e-commerce site “e-Gumi” until 11:59 p.m. on October 10, 2012. Orders will be accepted until October 10, 2011 at 23:59.
The figure is in platinum, the concept color of the Disney 100, and features a scene from the animated feature film “Fantasia” in which the figure secretly wears a wizard’s hat.
Mickey Mouse’s gaze is upward, giving a glimpse of his mischievous expression. Mickey Mouse’s eyes are embroidered with lame silver thread to express his sparkling eyes.
The soles of the feet are embroidered with the Disney 100 logo, and the hat and costume are made of a shiny material called “crushed velour. The belt around the waist is also made of a textured material.
The size is quite big, about 50 cm in length (about 310 x 285 x 500 mm, W x D x H).
It has a cotton core inside and can be sat on stably. It can be cuddled or displayed as an interior decoration, depending on your preference. Delivery is scheduled for March 2324.
