JR Tokai announced the operation plan of the Tokaido Shinkansen line due to the approach of Typhoon No. 13.
Due to heavy rain and strong winds along the line, there is a possibility of delays and sudden suspensions of operations starting with the first train tomorrow, September 8.
If some sections along the line become inoperable, operations may be suspended on the entire line between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka until the limit falls below the regulation value in order to prevent long stops between stations, etc.
For those who have already reserved or purchased tickets for September 7-9, changes or refunds will be made without charge.
