The 2nd Nishi-Awa Fireworks Festival” to be held in Tokushima Prefecture on November 11, featuring top-notch pyrotechnicians from all over Japan. All seats are reserved by ticket.

Tokushima Prefecture will hold the 2nd Nishi-Awa Fireworks Festival on November 11.

As the only “fireworks competition” in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions, it differs from ordinary fireworks shows in that pyrotechnicians from all over the country compete in their “art”. Fireworks artists with a variety of launching techniques and pyrotechnicians who create their best “artistic balls” bring together some of the best techniques in Japan. You can experience new charms of fireworks such as the new Shakudama, which changes into rainbow colors, and the Music Starmine, which synchronizes with music in 1/30th of a second.

The day will feature a variety of programs, including a competition by the best pyrotechnicians, including a Prime Minister’s Award winner, a total of 14 musical fireworks, and message fireworks by shakudama, which will be provided by pyrotechnicians from all over Japan.

All seats are reserved and paid tickets are required for viewing. Tickets will be available at various play guides and convenience stores from 12:00 p.m. on September 16.

For details, please check the official website. If you plan to come by car on the day of the event, you will also need to purchase a parking ticket separately, which will go on sale at 12:00 p.m. on September 24.
