Tokyo Metro & Hato Bus celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Yurakucho Line and the 15th anniversary of the Fukutoshin Line with a lineup of Series 7000, 10000, and 17000!

Outline of the photo session

The Yurakucho Line and the Fukutoshin Line share the same trains, with the 10000 Series and the 17000 Series currently in use.

In addition to these two trains in service, the first train of the 7000 Series, which has already retired from service, made an appearance at this photo session. In this train, only the lead car of the Shinkiba-bound train has been restored to an appearance similar to that of the Teito Rapid Transit Company. On the other hand, the first car on the Wako and Nerima side is the same as it was when it was in service, so different “faces” can be seen on the front and rear sides of the train.

However, the venue, the Shinkiba rail yard, is far from Shinkiba station, and it takes about 30 minutes to walk there. This is the reason why the event was jointly organized by Tokyo Metro and Hato Bus, which was a novelty this time. The weather on the day of the event turned out to be fine, contrary to the forecast, and the bus transportation must have been appreciated by the participants of the photo session.

The main features of this photo session were the “display of the original headmark” and the “appearance of the 7000 Series. The number of participants was limited to 35 people each for a total of four sessions from morning to afternoon. The event was fully booked within a few hours of the start of the application period.
