Nankai Electric Railway will renovate Parks Garden, the rooftop garden of its Namba Parks commercial facility, on the largest scale ever, with work to begin in September, with the first phase of renovation scheduled for early November and the second phase to be completed next spring.
The renewal concept is “touching nature. In order to create a space that brings people closer to nature and allows them to touch it with all their senses, four areas will be renewed in the first phase, and three areas will be renewed in the second phase. In the second phase, lighting will be newly added to enhance the charm of the forest at night.
Due to the first phase of construction, the 2nd floor garden entrance stairs to the 3rd floor stairway exit will be closed from September 11 to October 26, and the “Hanamizuki no Hiroba” will be closed from September 19 to October 27.
