The poster you once wanted, now in one volume. Take a closer look at Disney poster art from around the world!

Posted on September 3, 2023 by News Admin

On August 30, Kodansha released “Soku Disney Theme Park Poster Collection” (4,180 yen), which includes poster art from Disney parks and resorts around the world.

This is the second book following “The Disney Theme Park Poster Collection” and is a reorganized translation of “Poster Art of the Disney Parks SECOND EDITION” (published October 2022).

The book includes posters of popular attractions of the past as well as new releases, including “Beauty and the Beast: The Magical Story” at Tokyo Disneyland. It is a book that will immerse you in the excitement of the parks and the afterglow of your visit.

Disney’s art posters have a long history with the parks, beginning with the opening of Disneyland in California in July 1955. Disney Imagineering (WDI) artists created the posters to communicate the attractions, stores, and other attractions of the parks to guests, and they continue to be used in parks and resorts around the world today.

This publication includes new posters for “Beauty and the Beast: The Magical Story” and “Baymax’s Happy Ride” at Tokyo Disneyland and “Soarin’: Fantastic Flight” at Tokyo DisneySea. Other new posters for themed lands and themed ports are also included.

It will also include a number of posters from Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, USA. 128 pages in all.
