Sunshine Aquarium to focus on creature scares during nighttime hours. Explanatory panels and a hands-on corner.

Posted on September 3, 2023 by News Admin

Sunshine Aquarium will hold a special nighttime event, “TERROR Night Aquarium,” which focuses on the fear of creatures that do not usually attract attention. The event will run from September 8 to November 26.

Through explanatory panels and videos, creatures that are frightening in appearance and predatory methods, as well as creatures with hidden and frightening aspects, are introduced, allowing visitors to learn about the ecological characteristics and wonders of these creatures.

The featured creatures will be either the piranha, the most fearsome carnivorous fish in the Amazon River, or the candiru, a carnivorous freshwater fish that devours flesh in a terrifying manner, and the wallace eel, which has an alien-like face.

In the hands-on corner, visitors can listen to the sound of a Guyana caiman lizard chewing while actually touching the hard shell of a tern.

The museum’s background music and decorations will allow visitors to enjoy the eerie and mysterious atmosphere that only a special nighttime opening can provide.
