On August 21, Tokyo Disney Resort announced the 2024-2025 Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassadors (candidates).
Daisuke Shibata and Kazu Sagata were selected from approximately 100 applicants after several months of selection. This is the first time that a two-person team has been formed.
As goodwill ambassadors representing Tokyo Disney Resort Cast Members, the two will participate in public relations and community activities, and will be responsible for delivering the dreams of Tokyo Disney Resort. Their term of office will be for approximately two years, from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025.
Mr. Shibata is a member of the Accommodations Department at the MiraCosta Mirial Resort Hotels MiraCosta. He says his ambition is to be an ambassador who can deliver the charm of the park to guests from far and near, and to inspire people all over the world.
Mr. Ally, who belongs to the Oriental Land Attractions Operation Department, said, “I want to be an ambassador who can deliver excitement to Guests together with Cast Members, be a friendly presence for Guests’ people, and be an ally for Cast Members at all times.
Tokyo Disney Resort plans to open a new theme port “Fantasy Springs” at Tokyo DisneySea in the spring of 2024. The two-person team will work together to convey to Guests the charms of Tokyo Disney Resort as it continues to evolve.
