Tsugaru Railroad will operate the collaboration train of “Kinokonoyama” and “Takenokonosato” again this year. Free sweets and goods will also be distributed.

Tsugaru Railway will operate the Kinotake Wind Bell Train from August 16 to 31.

This is the second year, following 2022, of this collaborative project with Meiji’s chocolate confections “Kinokonoyama” and “Takenokonosato. The origin of this project is that Aomori Prefecture was the most frequently dreamed of prefecture by prefecture in a survey conducted by Meiji on the “depth of love for Kinokonoyama and Takenokonosato”.

As in the previous year, wind chimes in the shape of mushrooms and bamboo shoots made by Tsugaru Kanayama Pottery are installed inside the train. This year, the wrapping will be expanded to the sides of the train for further publicity. In addition to the distribution of chilled Kinokonoyama and Takenokonosato at Tsugaru Goshogawara and Tsugaru Nakasato stations, this year a limited number of 1,000 sweets-shaped fans and stickers with images of train tickets and head marks will also be given as gifts.
