Hakone Tozan Railway will hold special nighttime operations at cu-mo Hakone and Hakone Gora Park on August 16 in conjunction with the “Hakone Gora Onsen Daimonji Yaki”.
A paid viewing area will be set up on the observation terrace of cu-mo Hakone, and Sapporo Beer will sell “Shiro Honoka” at the cu-mo store for one day only. The “Observation Terrace Footbath Seats,” which allow visitors to enjoy the footbath, are available for 10,000 yen for a group of two (maximum capacity of 10 people). The “Observation Terrace Seats” are available for ¥6,000 for a group of two people (maximum capacity of 14 people).
Hakone Gora Park will extend its opening hours until 9:00 p.m. and provide 130 free seats for spectators. Sandwiches and frankfurters will be available for purchase at the park’s take-out shop. Admission is 550 yen for adults and free for elementary school students and younger.
The Hakone Tozan Railway and Hakone Tozan Cable Car will be in temporary operation on the day of the event.
