Sanko released “Marginal Fan” (3,480 yen), which has three fans to keep you cool at will. It is available at the official online store, directly-managed stores, retail stores, and e-commerce sites.
This is a neck-mounted wearable fan. When the center of the unit is placed inside the collar of the wearer’s clothing, air passes through to cool the back, which can easily become stuffy. In addition, each end of the flexible arm extending from the left and right is equipped with a fan. The arms can be bent freely, so air can be directed to any desired position, such as the face, the side, or shared with a neighbor.
The airflow can be set to low, medium, or high, and the fan can be operated in three modes: front only, rear only, or both. Another feature of the device is that the arm can be bent down to make it compact and portable.
