On September 7, Tokyo DisneySea will release “Popcorn with Bucket” (2,600 yen) featuring Gelatoni, who loves to draw.
Gelatoni, the cat with the trademark beret, brush, and palette, first appeared at DisneySea in 2014 as a member of Duffy & Friends, and this will be his first popcorn bucket. This is great news for Gelatoni fans who have been waiting for the release of popcorn buckets for almost nine years.
The Palazzo Canal and other attractions such as the “Venetian Gondola” are depicted on the bucket itself, as well as Gelatoni and Duffy and others working on their artwork.
Included at the top is a figure of Gelatoni, recreating a scene during a sketch. With one eye closed, he holds up a paintbrush in a gesture that captures the very moment he is painting or about to paint.
The strap has a diamond pattern reminiscent of the carnival and masquerade in Venice, Italy. The design is fashionable with blue as the base color. Only those who purchase the strap will be able to see the work on the sketch. Let’s look forward to its release!
