On August 1, Solaseed Air marked the 20th anniversary of its service to Kumamoto. On the same day, a ceremony was held at Kumamoto Airport to commemorate the 20th anniversary, as well as stage events, goods sales, and other thank-you events. In addition, passengers on all five flights from Kumamoto to Haneda were given commemorative gifts containing products from Sorakoi related municipalities and Solaseed Air goods as a token of appreciation for 20 years of service.
Solaseed Air, which currently operates 40 round trips of 80 flights/day on 14 routes throughout Tokyo, Okinawa, and Kyushu, began operating the Miyazaki-Haneda route in 2002 as Skynet Asia Airways. The following year, on August 1, 2003, it began operating the Kumamoto – Haneda route. Currently, there are 5 round trips and 10 flights per day on the Kumamoto – Haneda route.
Kosuke Takahashi, President and Representative Director of Solaseed Air, who took the stage on behalf of the organizers, recalled that “the past 20 years have been marked by various disasters.

After the ceremony, President Takahashi and others saw off Flight 16 from Kumamoto to Haneda.
