Tokyo Disney Resort will release the second edition of “Make Your Favorite” on February 1, 2024 to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
The product lineup was announced prior to the start of reservations on August 3. Two designs were chosen by popular vote: “a nostalgic design with lively depictions of Tokyo Disneyland spots” and “a retro-inspired design with colorful depictions of Mickey Mouse and his friends.
Make Your Favorite” is a participatory product development project in which the design is determined by the popular vote of guests, and was open for voting online from March 1 to 26, 2023.
The lineup consisted of five different designs of shoppers (paper bags of the time) familiar to Park fans, two of which were chosen from among them. In addition, five items were selected from a total of 12 types of goods, including tote bags, towels, and other miscellaneous items.
Announced this time are a total of five items: a storage item, a carabiner (with case), a cushion, a pouch, and a towel set, all with “a nostalgic design featuring lively Tokyo Disneyland spots.
On the other hand, the “retro-inspired design with a colorful depiction of Mickey Mouse and his friends” also includes a towel set, mug & tray, pouch, T-shirt, and tote for a total of five items.
All items are designed to bring back “those days” and are easily accessible, and are available for pre-order on the Tokyo Disney Resort App for guests who entered Tokyo Disneyland between August 3 and 31.
Regular in-store sales are scheduled to begin on February 1, 2024. It will be available at the Tokyo Disneyland Grand Emporium, Tokyo DisneySea Emporio, and Tokyo Disney Resort App.
