On July 28, Walt Disney Japan released “Disney’s Illusion Island: The Mysterious Adventures of Mickey & Friends” exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The price is 5478 yen for the packaged version and 5400 yen for the downloadable version.
Mickey & Friends are in an action-adventure game set on the island of Monos. The island is in turmoil after a powerful book, “The Three Magic Tomes”, which protects the island, has been stolen, and Mickey & Friends must go on a dangerous adventure to restore the island to its original state.
Along with the well-crafted sūtory, the film features beautiful hand-drawn animation, as well as the game’s original fully orchestrated music by composer Dave Housden. The film features original voice actors, fully animated cut scenes, and other highlights.
Play alone or cooperate with up to four other players. Players can solve puzzles and use skills such as hugging to send hearts to bosses and confrontations, and track the whereabouts of stolen books in an attempt to clear the game.
