Vision has added China and Hong Kong to its unlimited 5G coverage area for its Global WiFi overseas WiFi router rental service. Rates are 3270 yen for China (3070 yen for early bird discount) and 2870 yen for Hong Kong (2670 yen for early bird discount).
If 5G is not available, data communication will be switched to 4G. The company plans to gradually expand the coverage area as soon as it is ready.
In China, the company will offer a plan that enables the use of some restricted applications and social networking and Internet services. The applications that will be made available via the special line are Facebook, Instagram, LINE, X (Twitter), YouTube, Google Maps, Google, Google Calendar, Gmail, and Yahoo (some functions).
