Custom Japan is selling its eXs1TKG electric kickboard on Makuake, a support purchase service; the project started on July 24, has already reached its goal, and will run until August 30.
The eXs1TKG is an electric kickboard compliant with the July 1 revision of the Road Traffic Law, equipped with a maximum speed indicator light and a maximum speed of 20 km/h. It is classified as a “specified small motorized bicycle” under the revised law.
It has a folding mechanism and measures 480 x 1100 x 495 mm (W x D x H) when not in use and 480 x 1100 x 1160 mm when deployed. 16 kg in weight; maximum load 120 kg.
The tire size is 8.5 inches with puncture-free tires, front and rear disc brakes, 6 hours of charging time, and a range of 18 to 25 km. Accessories include a battery charger, blinkers, license plate stay, and a set of assembly tools.
The planned general sales price is 69,080 yen, but Makuake is offering an early bird discount, including a 14% discount to the 50,000 yen range (59,409 yen).
