Shave ice is one of the coolest summer desserts. At the Tokyo Disney Resort, a variety of restaurants, including those in the parks, are offering these delicious treats that will make you feel like you are in the middle of a hot summer day.
The “Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary ‘Dream Go Round’ Premium Summer Dessert” will be available at the Hyperion Lounge of the Disney Ambassador Hotel from August 1, 2012. You can enjoy this visually stunning dessert, which is decorated in rainbow colors with Nanairo syrup.
The set includes “Fresh Fruit and Tropical Cream Parfait with Shave Ice in 7 Colors Syrup” and coffee or tea for 4,500 yen. Available from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day.
The melon bowls and round shave ice are a surprise and exciting sight to behold, while the beautiful array of Nanairo syrups offer guests the pleasure of a little extra care. Syrup flavors include melon, mango, grape, peach, pineapple, strawberry, and blue curacao.
A tropical cream parfait hides under the shave ice. The parfait is made with hollowed-out melon flesh for a luxurious taste. Mickey Mouse in his special 40th anniversary outfit and the 40th anniversary logo on the side are also cute.
The item, which is not only highly photogenic but also highly recommended for its delicious taste, is available only in limited quantities each day, so advance reservations are required.
