NEXCO East Japan Kanto Branch launched the “Chiba Round Trip Pass” on July 22, which allows unlimited rides on expressways in Chiba Prefecture at a fixed price. The pass is available all year round, but not during the GW, Obon, and year-end and New Year periods.
The fee is 4,200 yen for a standard car and 3,400 yen for a mini-car, etc. (valid for two consecutive days). Applications can be made through the website.
The areas covered are listed separately, but the Tokyo Bay Aqualine, Gaikan Expressway, Metropolitan Expressway and roads under the jurisdiction of Chiba Prefecture Road Public Corporation are not covered, and separate fees will be charged.
