JR East Cross Station will hold “Suica Summer Festival in Tokyo Station” from July 27 to 29 (11:00 to 20:00, until 18:00 on the last day).
Various events will be offered, including the pre-sale of Suica penguin goods, which are new summer products, the limited opening of the “Pensta POP-UP Store,” a large lottery in which visitors can participate when they make purchases with transportation-related electronic money, and a Suica penguin photo session.
The venue will be the event space “Square Zero” on the first basement floor in the ticket gates of JR Tokyo Station, which will also be decorated with photo-worthy Suica penguins doing a Bon Odori dance. In addition, JR-Cross stores will sell new products such as limited-edition goods using Suica and Summer Festival designs and Suica penguin nori bento.
In the “Suica lottery,” visitors can participate once for purchases totaling 1,500 yen or more (including tax, but the total can be combined) with their transportation-related electronic money.
The target stores are JR Tokyo Station stores operated by JR-Cross (NewDays, Irorian Kiraku, Ekiben-ya Matsuri, Becks Coffee Shop, Acure vending machines, Ecute Tokyo, Gransta, etc.).
In addition, the first 1,000 customers who make purchases totaling 3,000 yen or more (two or more drawings at one time) will receive a free “Suica penguin fan”.
