In “Pattern A,” two trains each run on the up and down tracks: No. 3 (to Tobu Nikko) and No. 7 (to Kinugawa Onsen) on the down train, and No. 4 (from Tobu Nikko) and No. 8 (from Kinugawa Onsen) on the up train. In “Pattern B,” No. 1 and No. 5 (both bound for Tobu Nikko) will be added to the down trains, and No. 2 and No. 6 (both bound for Tobu Nikko) will be added to the up trains. The two round-trip trains in “Operation Pattern B” will be operated by Series 100 Spacia trains on “Operation Pattern A” days. Basically, “Operation Pattern B” is used on weekends and holidays, but on weekdays it varies depending on the day, so please check the latest information on Tobu Railway’s website.
