Rental Kart Circuit Opens at AEON MALL Kashiwa’s Multi-Story Parking Lot

Posted on July 18, 2023 by News Admin

Indikart Kashiwa opened on July 14 at AEON MALL Kashiwa in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, where rental karts can be enjoyed.

Indy Kart is a circuit where you can enjoy renting authentic racing karts. Located on the 6th floor of the shopping mall’s multi-story parking garage, the track can be driven regardless of weather conditions.

The total length of the course is about 260 meters, and a lap can be completed in about 20 seconds by experienced drivers. There are six adult karts, five children’s karts, and two two-seater karts available, and if you gather enough people and sign up for a race plan, you can enjoy racing.

For the first ride, a 500 yen registration fee and a 1,000 yen first ride fee (total 1,500 yen) entitles the rider to a 4-minute ride and a racing face mask as a free gift. A student discount of 500 yen is available for university students upon presentation of a student ID card.

Yasuhiro Shigeta, President of Indiana Kart Japan, which operates the facility, says, “Rental karting facilities are often located in inconvenient places and are expensive, costing 2,000 yen or more per ride.

In the future, the company hopes to reach out to a wide range of people, from children to adults, by holding events in collaboration with tenants in shopping malls.

Located at 2-5-25 Toyomachi, Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, the store is open from 12:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 20:00 on weekends and holidays.
