Tokyo Disney Resort will hold “Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary Special Drone Show” at several fireworks displays across Japan to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The event will start this weekend, July 22, starting with the “Abegawa Fireworks Festival” in Shizuoka Prefecture.
As Travel Watch recently reported on the preview, new times have been announced for each of the fireworks events.
The special drone show will feature approximately 700 drones depicting sky-related characters in the night sky, characters associated with the new Fantasy Springs area that will open at Tokyo DisneySea in the spring of 2024, and scenes unique to the 40th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea.
The 15-minute program depicts Disney characters along with familiar Disney songs and the 40th anniversary theme song “Living in Color.
