GrapeStone’s “Disney SWEETS COLLECTION by Tokyo Banana” now offers “Little Mermaid/Berry Chocolat Sandwich” (8 pieces for 1,188 yen), which will be available at stores in JR Tokyo Station and other locations starting July 20.
The key point of the packaging is the design of the main character Ariel, a mermaid, and her friend Flander on the front, based on the theme of the Disney movie “The Little Mermaid”.
The new “Berry Chocolat Sandwich” sweet features a natty chocolat dough with three kinds of savory nuts (almond, macadamia, and peanut) and mellow cacao. The Berry Chocolat Sandwich is softly whipped and sandwiched with Berry Chocolat.
The natty chocolat dough is decorated with familiar characters from the works, in a total of four designs. Flander, Sebastian, seashells, starfish motifs, etc. are adorable. The designs are random and can be enjoyed only after opening the package.
