On July 12, Aoyama Trading launched the “EXLIGHT AL2,” a loafer model of business shoes in collaboration with Mizuno, at 200 major Yofuku no Aoyama stores and its official online store.
These business shoes were designed with the theme of “easy business” that anyone can easily put on and take off based on a sports concept, with a large front tongue opening and closing. The shoes can be put on and taken off with one hand without using a shoehorn, and the zipper design provides a good fit when walking, making it difficult for the shoes to come off even during strenuous activity.
The heel is equipped with Mizuno Wave, Mizuno’s unique wave-shaped sole structure, in addition to EVA with excellent cushioning properties. It combines cushioning and stability, and reduces impact mitigation and foot wobble when landing, reducing the burden on the knees and hips. In addition, the use of “X10” rubber, which has higher abrasion resistance than normal rubber, has increased the durability of the shoes.
The insole is breathable, antibacterial and deodorant treated, and can be removed for hand washing. One side weighs approximately 280g, making it as light as a pair of running shoes.
Available in five sizes, ranging from 25 to 27 cm. The color is black and the price is 15,290 yen.
