Tokai Kisen Boat Company begins operation of “Tokyo Bay Noryo Boat,” a summer tradition! Fireworks surprise on the first day!

Posted on July 16, 2023 by News Admin

Tokai Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. started a summer cruise on Tokyo Bay called “Tokyo Bay Noryo Boat” on July 7. The period is 74 days until September 18. The service was suspended for two years after the Corona disaster, but resumed in 2022, and this year marks the second year of resumed operation.

This 2-hour cruise departs from Takeshiba Passenger Boat Terminal, departing at 19:15 and returning at 21:00. The fare is 1,500 yen for adults and 500 yen for children, but a 500 yen discount is offered to adults who board the ship wearing yukata (except on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays).

A yukata store directly operated by the company is located within a 2-minute walk from the terminal, offering a set price of 5,900 yen that includes yukata rental, dressing, and a Noryo Boat ticket (an opening discount of 500 yen will be offered from July 7 to 14).

Other plans that include a boarding ticket, food, all-you-can-drink, and seating are also available, including a Japanese-style room plan (5,000 yen for adults), a Western-style room plan (6,000 yen for adults), and a restaurant plan (7,000 yen for adults).

Drinks and food on board are available for an extra charge. In addition to a festive menu of French fries, yakisoba, and takoyaki, island gourmet foods such as tempura of asuka leaves, island sushi, green pepper fried chicken, and island salt fried chicken, and sweets such as churros and shaved ice are also available. Of course, alcohol and soft drinks are also available. For payment, customers can use traffic IC cards and electronic money such as iD, nanaco, WAON, and Rakuten Edy.

On July 7, the first day of the cruise, celebrity Sakira Inoue and Megumi Fujii, who sings the image song of the new ship “Sarubia Maru,” came on board for a talk and live performance, and as a surprise opening event, fireworks were shot off the Harumi Pier overlooking Rainbow Bridge.
