At Tokyo DisneySea, where “Dream Go Round” is being held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Tokyo Disney Resort, Duffy & Friends will appear together as a group of seven characters for a limited time during the summer in a water-based meet and greet event.

Cookie Ann, Ol’ Mel, and Leena Belle will make their first appearance at the waterfront meet and greet in Mediterranean Harbor. All seven members of Duffy & Friends will be on the boat to greet guests. At the time of the Harbor Show, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will introduce each character of “Duffy & Friends” in the Mediterranean Harbor through conversation, and the boat on which Duffy & Friends will board will appear with pop background music.
The route and stop locations are the same as for the regular water greeting: the square in front of Zambini Brothers Ristorante, Piazza Topolino, Lido Isle, and the center of Mediterranean Harbor. When it appears from the back of the Disney Sea Transit Steamer Line, it will make a large clockwise turn along the shore of Mediterranean Harbor and stop at the center of the harbor.
It is refreshing to hear the cute conversation of Duffy & Friends during the water greeting. There is no dance choreography, and after the ship comes to a stop in the center, everyone can clap their hands and sway from side to side to the music of Ol’ Mel for a relaxing and enjoyable viewing experience.
The ship makes two circumnavigations of the bay, but at the last moment when the ship leaves and returns from Piazza Topolino to the Lido Isle and back to the back of the Disney Sea Transit Steamer Line, the seven of them are gathered side by side in a perfect grouping.
This is overwhelmingly cute and a must-see for Duffy & Friends fans! It’s a sight that will knock even guests who weren’t into the show before out of their skin with its cuteness. If you visit Tokyo DisneySea this summer, be sure to check it out at this last moment only.
