Shin Nihonkai Ferry, a member of the SHK Line Group, will offer the “Autumn Trip GOGO Discount” for people aged 55 or older on departures between September 1 and October 31. Reservations are currently being accepted online or by phone.
During this period, a 20% discount will be offered on fares for private rooms and passenger cars, including suite rooms, junior suites, deluxe rooms, and state rooms on all routes for passengers aged 55 and over (*proof of age required). To be eligible, reservations must be made by the same day one month prior to embarkation and payment must be completed within three days including the reservation date.
As an example of how the discount can be used, a reservation for the Niigata-Otaru route in September for “two adults, one car under 5 meters, and one state room” will cost 41,000 yen for the full fare of 51,000 yen, but 40,800 yen after the discount is applied.
In addition, if the outbound trip is within the period of the special product discount, but the return trip is outside the period of the special product discount, the return trip is not eligible for the round-trip or excursion discount. Once a reservation is made, in principle, no changes can be made, but if changes are unavoidable, a cancellation fee will be charged according to the number of days until the event. On the day of embarkation, if seats are available, passengers may change to a higher class by paying the difference in fare.
