Rakuten STAY, Inc. will open “Rakuten STAY Atami” (3-5 Wadahama Minamimachi, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture) in Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture. Prior to this, the company began accepting reservations for lodging on July 10.
Located adjacent to Atami Seaside Park and overlooking Atami Bay, the 33 guest rooms on the third through ninth floors all have terraces with ocean views. In addition to standard rooms with a capacity of 2 to 6 persons, suites with a capacity of 4 to 6 persons are available for luxurious relaxation. Unattended check-in and check-out using tablets and entry/exit using smart locks will be available.
Pet-friendly rooms are available for up to two small, medium, or large dogs. In-room pet supplies such as cages and etiquette bags are always available, and a foot-washing area and leash hooks have been installed near the entrance of the facility. In addition, baby food, juice, snacks, special tableware, bed guards, bath chairs, and picture books are available for guests with small children. In addition, a private party room with karaoke, which is completely soundproofed, is available in one suite only.
The common areas on the first to second basement floors include a large bath using natural hot spring water from Atami, free-flowing drinks including alcoholic beverages such as beer and cocktails, a lounge with a terrace, and a workspace. The rooftop terrace is equipped with hammocks and a fire pit, allowing residents to enjoy a sense of openness while sipping a drink on sunny days.
From the guest rooms, it is possible to view the fireworks displays held throughout the year at sea in Atami Bay right in front of the hotel. Surrounded by hot springs, swimming pools, sightseeing boats, museums, and palm-lined beaches, guests can enjoy a variety of activities and tourist facilities.
One of the three suites offers a French course meal prepared and served in front of you by a chef trained at a famous restaurant.
