Ferry Sunflower has launched the “Bullet Ferry Round Trip Same Room Service,” which allows passengers to go sightseeing without leaving their luggage in the room.
The service targets “Sunflower Kurunai” and “Sunflower Murasaki” on the Osaka-Beppu route. Passengers using the same private room for round-trip bullet ferries can disembark without leaving their luggage in the cabin upon arrival on the outbound trip, eliminating the need to look for coin lockers at ports or around stations and worry about their availability.
When using the service, beds are not made and only towels and toothbrushes are changed. By reducing the cleaning of linens, the company expects to reduce environmental impact.
To use this service, a telephone reservation center must be notified at least one day prior to the outbound embarkation date. Also, from July 1 to August 8, a one dinner coupon will be given for each use of this service. One free buffet dinner can be enjoyed on the outbound or return trip.
