Hilton and Daiwa House Realty Management announced on July 6 that they have signed a management contract for DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station (15 Nishi-Iwamoto-cho, Higashi Kujo, Minami-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture), aiming to open in spring 2024.
This is Hilton’s upscale hotel brand and its second entry in Kyoto, following the DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Higashiyama, which will open in August 2023. The new hotel will be a rebranded version of a hotel that opened in 2018.
Located about a five-minute walk from the Hachijo exit of JR Kyoto Station, the nine-story building incorporates Kyoto-style design throughout.
The hotel has 266 guest rooms, mostly 25m2, as well as an all-day dining room, cafe-lounge, fitness center, executive lounge, and meeting rooms.
