Ace began sequential sales of a new suitcase “POSITANO” painted entirely in the same color from “BRICʼS,” an Italian travel bag brand operating in Japan. Prices start at 69,300 yen, and they come in two colors, sage green and sea green.
POSITANO” is taken from Positano, a town on the Amalfi Coast of Italy, and is inspired by the richness of nature and its vivid colors. It is made of lightweight, flexible, and durable recycled polycarbonate, and is finished in the same color as the main body, including the handle, zipper, interior fabric, and even the details on the wheels. The leather logo, which would conventionally be brown in color, has been made a uniform color to create a sense of presence and luxury.
All sizes also come with a protective cover, and some part numbers have an expandable function that allows the gusset width to be expanded by opening the zipper.
