First time in Japan, Thailand’s luxury hotel “Centara Grand Hotel Osaka” is thoroughly explained. Spa, 8 restaurants, and a rooftop!

Posted on July 9, 2023 by News Admin

In conjunction with the grand opening of Namba Parks South, Centara Grand Hotel Osaka, a luxury hotel by Centara Hotels & Resorts and owned by Central Group, the largest conglomerate in Thailand, opened on July 1. This is the first hotel to open in Japan. Centara Hotels & Resorts is Thailand’s leading hotel chain, operating 93 hotels on the Asian continent, with Thailand at the top of the list. Although not yet well known in Japan, it boasts outstanding name recognition and popularity in Thailand as a luxury hotel brand. Centara Grand Hotel Osaka, the first Centara Hotels & Resorts hotel to open in Japan, is the core facility of Namba Parks South, a 33-story building with 515 guest rooms and eight restaurants and bars. It features a rooftop restaurant on the top floor that offers a panoramic view of the city of Osaka, and a wide range of food lineup including traditional Thai cuisine, special seafood, and authentic steaks and smoked dishes. The hotel is also equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a spa, Sembali, where guests can experience authentic Thai treatments, a grand ballroom for large-scale corporate events, and a fitness center.

An authentic restaurant where you can fully enjoy the real taste of Thailand The entrance to the hotel is on the left, just after crossing the street from Namba Parks to Namba Parks South, a high-rise building that stands out among the new Namba Parks South, which had its grand opening on July 1, 2012. As one passes through the entrance, an exotic aroma, somehow different from that of Japan, wafts through the air. Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring the same fragrance to Japan as that of the hotel’s home country, so the fragrance was mixed in Japan to be the same as that of the hotel. A tuk-tuk, a familiar sight in Thailand, sits on the right side of the entrance. Behind the tuk tuk is Suan Bua (120 seats), where you can enjoy authentic Thai cuisine prepared by a Thai chef, and Embassy of Crab (132 seats), where you can enjoy authentic seafood dishes based on the motif of a crab. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be enjoyed at Suan Bua, while lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at Embassy of Crab. Both restaurants are full of exotic Thai atmosphere.
