The Tokyo Metropolitan Government, in collaboration with the municipality of Tama, will hold the “Chotamaran Expo” October 28-29.
The event will be held on Sun Sun Road at the north exit of JR Tachikawa Station to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the transfer of Tama from Kanagawa Prefecture to Tokyo Prefecture in 1893. The event will be held at Sun Sun Road at the north exit of JR Tachikawa Station. At the event, booths will be set up to promote local specialties and gourmet foods from all 30 cities, towns, and villages, and a painting contest and photo gallery will also be held. A digital stamp rally will be held at 130 locations throughout Tama from July 22 to October 29, prior to the event date.
