RED SUITE, the innermost part of JAL lounge, is now a guest room. I’ve seen the collaboration room at Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba.

Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba will establish a new “JAL FLIGHT & RED SUITE” room in collaboration with JAL. The period is for three years, but the current sales period is from July 15 to July 14, 2024. Reservations will be accepted from July 3, 12:00 pm.

The suite is inspired by the First Class Lounge at Haneda, and is a remodeled corner room on the 28th floor executive floor facing Shinagawa, Oi and Haneda Airport. The living room of the suite is reminiscent of the “RED SUITE,” the space at the far end of the first class lounge, and the furniture, carpets, wallpaper, and furnishings in the room, which is also being supervised by JAL, were carefully selected.

The dark colors of the room, including a route map on the wall provided by JAL, the RED SUITE nameplate, the Tsurumaru emblem, sideboards similar to those in the lounge, and a table and sofa with a chessboard on it, all contribute to a calm and relaxed atmosphere, thanks in part to the fragrance used in the lounge. The room’s interior is decorated in dark colors with the same sideboard and chessboard table and sofas as in the lounge.

As you step into the bedroom, you are greeted by red wallpaper, a gold Tsurumaru emblem, and a meal cart for in-flight service, the same one used in the galley. The lounge is designed to give the guests the feeling of boarding the plane.

The three-sided display is equipped with Thrustmaster Airbus logo sticks, throttles, and pedals, and the software is X-Plane 12. Although the planners state that the simulator is “just a game,” the way it reproduces shaking and vibrations in response to flight controls is quite authentic, and is one of the few examples in Japan of an environment that has been created to this degree.

The room capacity is for one or two persons, and the rate is from 98,000 yen per room for two persons (including breakfast and service charge). The following benefits are available to users.

Original Imabari hand towel with JAL and hotel logo

JAL original foods (2 servings of udon dekai, 2 servings of dry natto, 1 bottle of Sky Time Momoto grapes)

Two pairs of JAL in-flight slippers

JAL original amenities (amenity bag, eye mask, earplugs)

Executive lounge access, etc.
