Choshi Electric Railway and Yamazaki Baking will release a new product, “Cheese Bread (with Choshi Electric Railway’s Nure Sempei),” only in the central Kanto area. The product will be on sale from July 1 to August 31.
This product was jointly developed at the Chiba Plant of Yamazaki Baking Company over a period of about six months in order to solve food loss.
It is said to have an addictive, salty taste, with a wet rice cracker filling wrapped in a cheese filling, topped with another cheese filling and cheese powder, and baked.
The package, featuring a train and pantograph, also features a commemorative logo celebrating the 100th anniversary of Choshi Electric Railway and the 150th anniversary of the birth of Chiba Prefecture.
