The spectacular Halong Bay, a guide to the highlights of northern Vietnam, and “A Journey of Food and Goods to the Eternal City of Hanoi, Latest Edition.”

Posted on June 30, 2023 by News Admin

Ikaros Publishing has released the latest edition of “A Journey of Food and Goods to the Eternal City of Hanoi,” an A5-size, 144-page guidebook introducing highlights of the Hanoi area, the capital of Vietnam.

Hanoi is popular for its streets, food, and handicrafts, which have developed uniquely while being influenced by France and China. The author, a resident of Hanoi and an expert on Vietnamese goods and handicrafts, picks up the sights, restaurants, stores, and hotels that you should visit. The cover is illustrated by a Vietnamese illustrator from Hanoi.

The book also provides information on spots that are easily accessible from Hanoi, such as the “Hoan Kiem Lake area,” including the bustling Old Quarter, “West Lake,” which has a relaxed atmosphere and is dotted with tasteful stores and cafes, the World Heritage Site of Halong Bay, the pottery village of Bach Chan, and Sapa, where ethnic minorities live. The “Reading” page includes a description of Vietnamese cuisine and a guide to the country’s traditional cuisine. In the “reading materials” section, Vietnamese culture is introduced through explanations of Vietnamese cuisine, an illustrated guide to herbs and food ingredients, and information on embroidery and other handicrafts. Data and information on stores have been updated for the latest edition.
