Setouchi Brand Corporation, a member of the Setouchi DMO, will open a villa-type glamping facility, Setouchi Island Stays Suo Oshima (1256 Hirano, Suo Oshima-cho, Oshima-gun, Yamagata Prefecture) in August.

Located within the Seto Inland Sea National Park, it has blue ocean and white sand beaches. The beach is approximately 1.2 km long, and the entire beach is lined with palm trees. The facility has an infinity pool and terrace, and activities such as SUP, sea kayaking, paddling, fishing, and cycling can also be enjoyed.

The six resort villas, all overlooking the ocean, are limited to two couples per day, and rooms with a dog run are also available.

For meals, food from Suo Oshima, where seafood is abundant, is provided. Gas grills are provided in all buildings, allowing visitors to experience barbequing without any supplies. You can enjoy “Takamori beef,” a brand name beef produced in Yamaguchi Prefecture, live turban shells from Suo Oshima, Choshu chicken produced in Yamaguchi Prefecture, and creative dishes prepared by professionals in the garden or indoor space.

Rates start at 12,500 yen per person for the Hilltop Ocean Suite, 13,200 yen per person for the Dog Ocean Suite, and 10,000 yen per person for the Ocean Suite.
