JR East and Rakuten Payments have enabled iPhone “Mobile Suica” linkage and recharging with the Rakuten Pay smartphone payment service application.
Until now, only Mobile Suica issuance and recharging for Android devices was supported, but with the launch of this service, iPhone users will also be able to link the Rakuten Pay app to Mobile Suica and recharge from registered Rakuten cards and Rakuten Points.
In addition, until now, to earn Rakuten Points on the iPhone, users had to enter monthly campaigns and then recharge the card from the Mobile Suica application with their Rakuten Card. Now you can recharge directly from the Rakuten Pay app, and Rakuten Points will be automatically awarded the next day or later.
To celebrate the launch of the service, a “100 points for linking Suica to Rakuten Pay for the first time only on iPhone” campaign will be held from June 26, 10:00 a.m. to August 1, 9:59 p.m. During the campaign, users will receive 100 Rakuten Points for the first time they link their mobile Suica to the Rakuten Pay application on their iPhone after entering the campaign.
In addition, if you participate in the monthly “Recharge Suica from Rakuten Pay App for the first time and receive up to 200 points” campaign and meet the requirements, you will receive up to 300 Rakuten points.
