Kanaya Hotel will reopen the annex of the Nikko Kanaya Hotel (1300 Kamihachiishi-cho, Nikko-shi, Tochigi Prefecture), which is celebrating its 150th anniversary, as “Annex ROYAL HOUSE” on July 15.
While preserving the atmosphere of the oldest existing resort hotel in Japan, the 22 guest rooms were renovated, new elevators were installed, and the copper shingle roof was replaced to make the stay more comfortable for both domestic and international guests.
The hotel’s official website is currently offering a “Special Discount Plan” to commemorate the opening. The plan is available from July 15 to October 20 (except for the Bon Festival from August 10 to 15), and the price for two persons per night with two meals is 88,000 yen, a 17,000 yen discount from the usual price.
