Hotel Metropolitan (1-6-1 Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo) will release a limited-quantity tin of cookies called “Suica no Penguin Adult Cookies” (3,200 yen).
The assortment includes four cookies of each of three varieties to enjoy with alcohol: Cheese & Black Pepper, Cassis & Fig, and Chocolat Salé. The stylish silhouette of each cookie is made by hand, using rich Hokkaido butter and Takachiho fermented butter to create a rich aroma and rich taste of hotel-made cookies.
Reservations will be accepted on JR East’s EC site “JRE MALL” at 12:00 p.m. on June 23, with shipping options on July 12, 19, and 26. In addition to at home, you can also pick up your order at the Cake & Bakery store on the hotel’s 2nd floor.
