Bud International is participating as a promotional partner in the demonstration operation of “Minami-Boso JOY Taxi,” a new tourism plan planned and supported by cab operators in Tateyama City and Minami-Boso City for a coordinated transportation and tourism project.
The demonstration period is from June 10 to December 20, and during this period, chartered cabs are available at less than half the regular price.
In this project, electric carts are mounted on sightseeing cabs. Upon arrival at the sightseeing spot, the driver assembles the electric cart. The “Recommended Experience Plan,” in which the driver takes the cab to the sightseeing spot and enjoys the electric cart as the main attraction, and the “Sightseeing Select Plan,” in which a conventional sightseeing cab is combined with an electric cart.
The fare for the demonstration tour is 2,800 yen, compared to the usual 6,120 yen, and includes one electric cart. Reservations can be made at Nittokotsu Tateyama Office (weekdays 9:00-16:00) and Kagamiura Jidosha Tateyama Office (weekends and holidays 8:30-16:00).
