Keio Electric Railway announced that more than 24,000 hydrangeas planted alongside the tracks of the Inokashira Line will soon be at their best.
In addition, a train with a hydrangea design head mark will be in operation during the period when hydrangeas are at their best. The train is scheduled to run from May 28 to June 23, and will use a 1000 Series 5-car train.
At Keio Hyakusoen, approximately 500 hydrangeas will be at their best from early to mid-June. The 26,000 m2 garden, which retains the atmosphere of Musashino, is planted with beautiful fresh green maple trees and other plants, which enhance the hydrangeas blooming under the sunlight filtering through the trees. In addition to hydrangeas, other seasonal flowers such as water lilies can also be seen.
